A Pittsburgh Post-Gazette editorial recently decried a local courthouse policy banning cell phones equipped with cameras. Besides the obvious effect of banning cell phones, the P-G noted, “Cameras have long been barred from courtrooms only, not the entire building; naturally, all news media outlets including this one oppose that restriction.”
